OUR
PLASTIC
PROBLEM
THERE IS PLASTIC IN THE STOMACHS OF OVER 50% OF SEA TURTLES AND 90% OF ALL MARINE BIRDS
Plastic not only disrupts the habitats and ecosystems of marine life, it also threatens the food security of people in countries that rely on fishing. Many develpoing countries don't have the resources to dispose of the plastic on land, this can result in plastic related illnesses. Between 400,000 and 1,000,000 people die each year because of diseases caused by living next to plastic pollution.
